So, who am I?
I’m more than just the guy who poses as blue silhouettes at the header and footer of this website. My name is Chris Ayres, and I really enjoy making websites. That’s not all though - I’m really in to Flash and video editing.
My interest in making websites goes back to when I used to play Worms 2 online far too much and saw players had made sites for their clans. Teaching myself Flash and the basics of HTML, I kept making websites until I set up a web design business in 2007. A year passed and I decided that a university degree on the subject was my best chance at a career, and so now I’m at Leeds Metropolitan studying Multimedia Technology.
This is what I do.
I like to think I’m a web designer, but I also really enjoy making Flash games. Creating an interactive experience for a user to immerse themselves in is fantastically satisfying. Graphic design usually accompanies the work I do, and throughout my University course I’ve become a confident video editor. To summarise:
